“O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.” Psalm 139: 1 – 4 ESV
You know me, You know my thoughts and my words before is speak them, you are closer than my breath. What is there that you don’t know about me? You see right through me beyond my masks and my deception.
Lord, what is it that you don’t know? You know my every thought, feeling, and desire. I lay bare and naked before you, nothing hidden. You know my pain, and you know my desires. You know my fear, and you know exactly where I am and where I’m going. Truly, you know every detail of my life. It brings so much comfort to know that you truly know me to the depth of my spirit. Lord, you know me.
You know me intimately, Lord, closer than a friend, better than those who nurtured. You made the heavens and the earth, the skies and the sea. But still, Lord, you see me. You know which way I’m going to go and every word I say. Lord, you get me more than I get myself.
Much Love in Christ
