…. because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 7:7-10
Don’t let the devil condemn you or get you to a place of frustration. Whenever the enemy comes, even when convicted, keep praising and believing in the freedom and liberty; God WILL DEFINITELY bring us overcome. Be patient and trust and depend on Him. You need to go deeper in love with God. The deeper and closer we go towards God, the grip of sin loses its power and grip.
On the other hand, the deeper and closer we come to God, every hidden enemy in our hearts is defeated.
Remember, the fathers and mothers of the faith had to go through the same. The problem today is that many do not share their wounds and the struggles they encounter. I remember when God was preparing me for Ministry. I struggled with many demons, so even though I was in love with God, there was a great gulf between His Word and my life. I cried deeply as my desire for Him was authentic, and the bondages were real.
The Holy Spirit said Ruth, if you don’t kill them before Ministry when I take you to your appointed assignment, they will kill you. So, I spent seven years praying and fasting and wrestling these demons. I went from seeking freedom and deliverance to pursuing God, knowing clearly that dark and light cannot be in the same place. God started to uproot one demon at a time.
God hears your cry, and even when we fall, it’s a blessing because God gives us profound revelations and insights so we can learn how to stand and discern. So, we can strategically by the power of the Holy Spirit through falling we grasp why we fall and are empowered to stand.
We must design a life that will allow God to complete control and leadership; this isn’t always easy. But by His grace day by day, we are taught and empowered to grow and be transformed into His very image. We are changed as we stick to His process and seek Him greater than you seek deliverance and freedom from trials as you pursue Him.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Pursuing Holiness family. I thank you for all you are doing in their lives. I pray that you will pour upon us a fresh encounter with your Grace and your presence. Let your anointing fall. Have your way in our hearts, minds and spirits. Lord, we are hungry, thirsty and desperate for you fill us fresh. Lord let your peace rest upon us now, In Jesus mighty name, we pray.
Much Love in Christ
Your Sister,
Ruth
